Our 2022 Agenda included:
• Driving Park HD Community Business (upcoming event, dues & elect the 2023 Board)
• Denver PD Community Resource Officers: Kate Young and AJ Pacheco
• Council Representatives: Chris Hinds, District 10 and Amanda Sawyer, District 5
• Jane Donovan, Department of Transportation & Infrastructure | Utilities Administration regarding Denver's new Trash, Recycle and Compost program.
Meeting highlights included:
• Our 2023 Neighborhood Board was approved.
• DPHD will be having a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 22nd from 3-5 PM. Click here for the details and to RSVP.
• While crime is down, it's not gone - our CROs, Kate Young & AJ Pacheco provided lots of suggestions to help keep our neighborhood safe.
• In July 2023, we will no longer be a part of City Council District 10, as we will move to District 5. While the change doesn't happen until July, in April (and June of there is a runoff) we will be voting for the candidates for District 5. Chris Hinds & Amanda Sawyer helped us sort all that out and more.
• In 2023, Denver commences its Expanded Waste Collection Services which include a new volume based pricing program.
