Neighborhood Watch Training - Wednesday August 18, 2021
**In-Person Neighborhood Watch Action and Awareness Training
Date: Wednesday, August 18, 2021
Time: 6pm
Location: Denver Police District 3 Station, 1625 S. University
Neighborhood Watch Action and Awareness Training. Denver Police District 3's Neighborhood Watch program encourages a partnership between Officers and the Residents they serve. Officers promote Neighborhood Connectivity by encouraging Neighbors to get to know one another, and teaching residents how to effectively observe and report suspicious behavior. This program creates awareness through Implicit Bias education - reminding neighbors - it's the person's behavior, not the person to be mindful of when observing and reporting suspicious behavior to the Police. To RSVP for this presentation please email D3NeighborhoodWatch@denvergov.org
We can keep our neighborhood safer through our neighborhood watch program. The more people we have trained, the safer we will be. Please plan to attend this training.

DPHD 2020 Annual Community Meeting
We successfully held our first (and probably annual) virtual community meeting. It was well attended and very interactive. During the meeting we approved the 2021 Board, and discussed a variety of ways we can interact as a neighborhood during and post Covid. Some of the activities which you will be hearing about are virtual and hopefully some will be in person, once the pandemic risk has subsided.
Examples of virtual activities include a virtual book club, meet and greet and occasional speakers. Examples of projects and activities include a food drive, shredding event, and post Covid get togethers.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
